COMMEMORATIVE CONVOYS
COMMEMORATIVE CONVOYS BACKGROUND copy_edited.jpg

Our team of dedicated volunteers have organised a series of classic military vehicle convoys since 2017, successfully promoting the annual Poppy Appeal

and supporting the Royal British Legion Riders Branch.

They Serve, We Remember...

Every convoy has been an Act of Remembrance, and a unique historic occasion. They have been seen by thousands of spectators and have been widely reported by mainstream and social media.

Our highlight achievements include:

The Spirit of Remembrance Parachute Ceremony at former USAAF / RAF Greenham Common in June 2019.

In 2024 securing funds for, erecting and dedicating the D-DAY 80 Anniversary Stone on Hungerford (Berkshire) Common, RG17 0ED.

The site of a visit, by General Eisenhower in 1944.

We have negotiated a route through Hampshire communities that has historical links with the Armed Forces past and present. The convoy will exclusively assemble at and start from Aldershot Garrison, home of the British Army. The route includes Odiham (RAF Odiham home of the Chinooks). The convoy welcomes British and Allied military vehicles of all eras and for this special AFD we welcome classic emergency service vehicles.
